In March 2017 members of the Board of Governors, Rev Lockhart and I met with Nigel Dodds and Philip Brett to discuss under funding in education and the particular challenges faced by Ballyhenry Primary School. Mr Dodds and Mr Brett were moved by our story and the commitment we have to further develop the strong community links in our area. On our behalf they secured a grant of nearly £7,500 for new computers! Today the Deputy Lord Mayor and a number of other councilors were on hand at the Road Show to view the new and improved ICT Room. Staff and pupils are already raving about the difference this will make to learning! A big thank you to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
